Leading Edge Design

Provided M&A Advisory services to this Intelligence Community services provider creating approximately 35% more value for the ownership team to the same acquirer with which they had an offer 9 months earlier when they were unrepresented.

Tresys Technology

Provided M&A Advisory services for this Cyber product development and services provider resulting in a successful sale to a Private Equity firm.

Pangia Technology

Provided business optimization and M&A services to this Intelligence Community solutions services provider creating the highest multiple for a small business in that market segment at the time.

MasterPeace Solutions/MasterPeace LaunchPad

Founded company and provided start-up capital and advisory services for this rapidly growing technology product development and technology business incubator.  MasterPeace’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) address Cyber, Cloud, and technology transformation in the areas of Big Data Analytics, Utility Computing and the Internet of Things.

Applied Signal Technology (AST)

Executed the strategic plan to transform AST from pure signal intelligence data collection to a fully integrated product offering.  Acquisitions included:

  • Dynamics Technology:  Integrated sensor and signal processing products
  • Pyxis Engineering:  high-end software engineering; analyst development tools
  • Seismic LLC:   high-end cyber security solutions

Due in part to this expedited growth, AST sold in 2010 to Raytheon at a double-digit forward multiple.

Haystax Technology

Private equity-backed rollup.  Grew company solely by acquisition from zero to over $100M in revenue in 3+ years.  Acquisitions included:

  • Digital Sandbox:  data analytics product company
  • FlexPoint:  Cloud computing services company
  • NetCentrics:  Secure network enterprise services and security company

Wells Landers/Red Arch Solutions

Founded advanced software and system engineering firm providing technology services to the Intelligence Community; the company was amongst the fastest growing in the country.  Provided ownership buy-out advisory services creating an exit for a partner and sole ownership for the remaining partner.

Pro-teligent

Provided start-up “in kind” capital and advisory services for this company which grew from 0 to $110 million in annualized sales over a 10 year period.

Sage Management

Provided  M&A and Business Advisory Services resulting in “high watermark” valuations for the company.

Tubetronics

Founded company which manufactured high-technology hydraulic systems, primarily for aerospace and defense customers.  Grew from zero to over $50M in revenue through key acquisitions.
