Tom Safir has been offered and accepted a role as Vice President Programs for the San Francisco Chapter of AFCEA international.
Tom’s position is designed to generate meaningful programs for the local chapter and to support AFCEA international overall. “I am honored and excited to assist the current team in expanding the AFCEA presence and developing compelling new programs to provide value to local corporate and individual members of AFCEA San Francisco. With San Francisco acting as host to a number of prominent Cyber and National Security companies and military bases we have the resources to build a compelling eco-system for the AFCEA members”.
AFCEA Regional Vice President Bob Landgraf and AFCEA San Francisco President Dan Washington said in a joint statement: “We are very pleased that Tom Safir has accepted a role with us. With his vast experience in National Security and business management, we envision him helping us vitalize our chapter with an exciting new speaker series and networking events for local members”.
Tom is currently the Managing Director at National Security Capital Advisors, an Investment Bank focused on Cyber and National Security, and prior has a long history of financing, building and managing businesses in the National Security market segment.
